The zoo is always fun with children but try going with just your spouse. My husband and I got married in South Jordan and spent our honeymoon in Salt Lake City. One of the things I really wanted to do was go to Utah's Hogle Zoo and my sweet husband made that happen.

Utah's Hogle Zoo has always been a favorite of mine since I was a little girl. I have many family photos, home videos, and found memories of trips to this zoo, so I was really excited to go with my husband.
It was the perfect date to walk hand in hand while enjoying everything that was around us.
Utah's Hogle Zoo has over 800 animals within many different exhibits to visit, from the African Savanah, to the Asian Highlands, Primate Forest, Elephant Encounters, Small Animal Building, World of Flight and the Rocky Shores.
The zoo also offers a Bird Show which features eagles, falcons, owls, and parrots flying over the audience heads. You can also take a romantic ride on the Zoofari Express Train Ride

Another cool feature about this zoo is that you and your spouse can have a once in lifetime opportunity spending one-on-one time with the animals.
